Former US President Clinton Hospitalized!

Former US President Bill Clinton was admitted to a hospital in Washington, D.C., on Monday (23) afternoon.

He was admitted to the hospital for treatment and tests after developing a fever, his spokesman told CNN.

Clinton’s vice president, Angel Urena, said,

The former president is doing well.

We hope he will return home before Christmas.

He is in good spirits, he said.

The 78-year-old Clinton was at his home in Washington before being taken to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.

He is expected to stay in the hospital at least overnight.

The news of the former president’s hospitalization, two days before Christmas, spread quickly across the country.

The 42nd US president has faced a number of health problems since leaving the White House nearly a quarter century ago.

He underwent bypass heart surgery in New York in 2004 and suffered a lung infection the following year.

He underwent another heart operation in 2010.

Clinton was also hospitalized for six days in Los Angeles in 2021 after a kidney infection spread to his bloodstream.
