Iran Won’t Bow to US Pressure, Says President Pezeshkian
Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that Iran will not yield to pressure from the United States, reaffirming his country’s commitment to sovereignty.
According to a statement reported by IRNA, he said Iran does not seek war and prefers resolving issues through diplomacy.
Pezeshkian warned that any attempt by the U.S. to impose its will on Iran would fail, stressing that Iran’s sovereignty is non-negotiable.
He also questioned the justification of attacks targeting civilians and key infrastructure such as schools and hospitals, calling such actions violations of international humanitarian law.
While expressing readiness for dialogue, he emphasized that any negotiations must be based on mutual respect and international principles.
