Namal Rajapaksa Admits Past Mistakes, Pledges to Move Forward
Namal Rajapaksa has acknowledged that mistakes may have been made in the past and stressed the importance of learning from them.
Speaking at a New Year event held at Carlton House in Tangalle, he said that while making mistakes is human, understanding and correcting them is what truly matters.
He highlighted the role of education and cultural values in helping society learn from past errors.
Rajapaksa also emphasized the need for progress not only as individuals but as a nation, stating that he is committed to moving forward with people-centered politics while avoiding past shortcomings.
