Trump Says He’ll Keep Hormuz Strait Open, Claims China Welcomes Move
U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that China is pleased with his decision to keep the Strait of Hormuz permanently open.
In a post on social media, Trump said, “China is very happy that I am keeping the Strait of Hormuz open permanently. I am doing this for them and for the entire world.”
He also emphasized that such a crisis situation would not be allowed to happen again.
China, which plays a major role in importing Iranian oil, has not yet issued an official response to Trump’s statement.
