Mahinda Rajapaksa Attends Traditional Oil Anointing Ceremony in Tangalle
Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa participated in the traditional New Year oil anointing ceremony held this morning at the Sri Pushparama Viharaya in Tangalle.
The ceremony took place at the auspicious time of 6:55 a.m. under the guidance of Ven. Yatigala Pannaloka Thero, a senior member of the Sri Kalyani Samagri Dharma Maha Sangha Sabha and head of the Tangalle Sasana Protection Council.
The event was conducted with religious blessings for peace and well-being across the country.
