Efforts of Jaffna youth to develop the economy through tourism!
Three young men from Jaffna have started a tour yesterday with the aim of promoting Sri Lanka’s tourism industry. This tour started from the Jaffna, Point Pedro, Chakkottai junction.
The three young men will travel around all 25 districts of Sri Lanka in 40 days by tricycle.
Due to the unusual situation in the country, the economy has suffered greatly due to the decline in tourism. In this case, the youth said that they have started this tourism trip with the aim of re-developing the tourism industry and bringing foreign tourists to the country, increasing the income and building the economy.
