Tortoises are continuously dying and washing up in the eastern sea of Vadamarachi
Jaffna – Turtles have been washing ashore in a dead state in the eastern seaboard of Vadamarachi recently.
In this situation, two dead turtles have washed ashore on the beach of Kattaikatu.
Fishermen of the area have said that due to the roughness of the sea, injured turtles continue to die and wash ashore in their area.
