Ambulance Involved in Accident in Kilinochchi
An ambulance belonging to the Mullankavil Hospital, which was transporting two patients from Mullankavil Hospital to the Kilinochchi Hospital, was involved in an accident.
The incident occurred last night in the area between Poonakari and Parandhan. The ambulance collided with a tractor that was carrying bundles of paddy.
As a result, the front part of the ambulance was severely damaged. Furthermore, the ambulance became inoperable, and another ambulance had to be dispatched from the Kilinochchi Hospital to continue transporting the patients.
