Under 19 ODI World Cup for Australia

Australia’s youth team won the Under-19 World Cup ODI Championship series yesterday (11).

In the final they defeated the last time champions India Youth by 79 points.

The tournament was held in Binoni, South Africa.

In the match, Australia Under-19 team, who won the toss and batted first, scored 253 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 50 overs.

With a target of 254 runs to win, the young Indian team managed to score only 174 runs in 5 balls in 43 overs.

Accordingly, Australia’s young players celebrated their victory.

Australia won the Youth One Day World Cup for the fourth time, having previously won the title in 1988, 2002 and 2010.

After 14 years Australian players won the Under-19 World Cup.
