A boy who went fishing was hit by a train and died

A 14-year-old boy died after being hit by a train in the Trincomalee-Thambalagamam area, causing tragedy in the area.

A 14-year-old student named Naleem Muhammad Sabrid, who lived in Unit-07 of Mullipottanai, was killed.

As far as the incident is concerned, the said boy was fishing with his friends near the bridge in Thambalagamam area.

It is also known that at that time it collided with a train which was going from Colombo to Trincomalee.

The body of the deceased has been kept in the mortuary of Kandalai Hospital and investigations are being carried out by the Tambalagamam police.
