Today is the first 20-20 match between Afghanistan and Sri Lanka
The first match of the three-match Sri Lanka-Afghanistan T20 series will be played today (17) at the Tambullai International Cricket Stadium.
This will be the first international cricket match to be played at the renovated Dambulla Cricket Ground in more than five years, and the first time a 20-over international will be played at Dambulla.
For this match, both Sri Lanka and Afghanistan players gathered for their final practice yesterday afternoon.
During Afghanistan’s tour of Sri Lanka, apart from 3 T20 matches, Sri Lanka participated in 1 Test match and 3 ODI matches, and Sri Lanka won all of those matches.
