Tamil-speaking journalists are the most murdered!
Member of Parliament I. Chanakyan has stated that the number of Tamil-speaking journalists murdered in the country from 2004 to 2009 is higher.
Speaking in Parliament yesterday, he also questioned the steps taken by the National People’s Power-led government regarding this issue.
Furthermore, although a committee was appointed to investigate this issue in the Gotabaya Rajapaksa-led government, all the details have been covered up, claiming that these murders occurred due to political vendettas, Member of Parliament I. Chanakyan said.
