Pakistani Warships Arrive at Colombo Port for Goodwill Visit

Two Pakistan Navy ships, PNS TAIMUR and PNS ASLAT, arrived at the Colombo Port on April 12, 2026, for a goodwill visit.

The Sri Lanka Navy welcomed the vessels in accordance with naval traditions upon their arrival.

PNS TAIMUR is commanded by Captain Niamat Saeed Khan, while PNS ASLAT is under the command of Captain Nadir Mateen Afridi.

During their visit, the ships are also scheduled to take part in a bilateral naval exercise with the Sri Lanka Navy, titled “LION STAR V.”
