New members appointed to the Finance Committee!
The first session of Parliament for the new year commenced today (07), chaired by Speaker Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne, who made the announcement regarding these appointments.
Accordingly, steps have been taken to appoint Members of Parliament Sathuranga Abeysinghe, Chanakyan Rajamanickam, Dr. Kausalya Ariyaratne and Harkam Elias as new members to the Finance Committee.
It is expected that they will play an important role in the functioning of this committee with their experience and skills.
