Major General Lasanna Rodrigue appointed as the 25th Army Commander!
Today (30.12.2024), Major General Lasanna Rodrigue has been appointed as the 25th Army Commander of Sri Lanka. This new appointment comes as the current Army Commander, Lieutenant General Wickremesinghe, completes his service tomorrow.
It is noteworthy that Major General Lasanna Rodrigue has served as the Deputy Chief of the Sri Lanka Army and has held several important positions.
Furthermore, Rear Admiral Kanchana Panagoda has also been appointed as the Commander of the Navy today.
