Accordingly, Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasooriya paid his last respects to him at the Indian High Commission located on Galle Road, Colombo 03 today. He also paid his last respects to him in the Indian Book of Condolences in Sri Lanka.
Meanwhile, former President Mahinda Rajapaksa paid tribute to the late former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at the Indian High Commission in Colombo.
On this occasion, he recorded his condolences in the book of condolence for Manmohan Singh.
India has declared a seven-day state mourning from December 26, 2024 to January 1, 2025, as a mark of respect for Manmohan Singh.
It is also noteworthy that the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka has declared a seven-day mourning from December 30.
