Kehalia Rambukwella resigns as Minister of Environment

Former Minister of Health and current Minister of Environment Kehalia Rambukwella has resigned from her ministerial post.

It is reported that Kehalia Rambukwella has informed the President in a letter that she is resigning from the position of Minister of Environment.

Former Health Minister Kehalia Rambukwella is currently under remand after being accused of procuring substandard drugs.

Malikakanth Magistrate Court has ordered to remand him till next 15th.
