Elon Musk changes name on Twitter
Elon Musk, the world’s leading billionaire, changed his name on social media platform X to “Kegius Maximus” on Tuesday (December 31). He also updated his profile picture.
Elon Musk bought Twitter two years ago through his SpaceX and Tesla companies. Elon Musk, who changed Twitter’s name to X [X], fired several high-ranking employees and made several changes to the structure of the site.
In this case, he has now changed the name of his X ID to “Kegius Maximus”. The change has received a lot of attention in social media circles.
Elon Musk has also replaced his profile picture with a photo from the “Pepe the Frog” meme. The character Pepe the Frog is a meme used by far-right groups.
Elon Musk, a close confidant of US President-elect Donald Trump, did not immediately comment on the new profile picture.
The value of the meme currency “Kegius” is reported to have increased by 500% after this change. Meme currencies that spread virally on the Internet are now of the electronic type.
Similarly, it is noteworthy that the hero’s name in the 2000 film Gladiator is “Maximus”.
