Dolphin washed ashore on Maruthamunai beach
A dolphin washed ashore on Maruthamunai beach in Ampara district this evening (16).
It was caught by children in the area and released back into the sea. The fish was about 4 to 5 feet long. Fishermen said that it washed ashore due to sea turbulence.
