Canadian economy grows 0.3% in October!
Canada’s economy grew 0.3% in October, following a 0.2% increase in September 2024, according to statistics from the country.
The economy grew in October due to a strengthening in the mining, quarrying, oil and gas extraction sector.
Mining, quarrying, oil and gas extraction rose 2.4% in October, with oil and gas extraction contributing the most, up 3.1%.
In addition, the statistics indicate that the improvement was due to the growth of services-producing industries by 0.1% month-on-month.
This is the fifth monthly economic growth of the year.
