Canada Pledges $40 Million in Aid to Lebanon
Canada has allocated $40 million in humanitarian assistance to Lebanon, with funds to be delivered through international organizations, according to Lebanon’s foreign ministry.
The announcement followed a phone call between Youssef Rajji and Anita Anand.
During the discussion, Anand also reaffirmed Canada’s support for Lebanon’s sovereignty and condemned Israeli air strikes on the country, the ministry said.
