The police said that yesterday (04) a person who helped in the murder of five people in Beliath area on January 22nd was arrested.
The Matara Division Children and Girls Bureau arrested the suspect in the Habaraduwa area and handed him over to Beliathta Police Station.
Police said that the arrested suspect is a 28-year-old resident of Ratgama, Katutamba area.
He is the 11th suspect in this incident who has been arrested.
On the 22nd of last month, 5 people, including Saman Perera, were murdered at the Beliyatta exit of the Southern Expressway.
