Trump Claims Iranian Navy ‘Destroyed’, Announces Energy Blockade
U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that Iran’s military—particularly its navy—has been completely dismantled.
Speaking to media in Maryland, Trump said, “Their entire navy is now under water,” adding that around 158 warships have been destroyed.
He also stated that Iran’s mine-laying vessels had been largely eliminated, leaving the country unable to pose further maritime threats.
As part of the next phase of action, Trump announced the launch of a massive energy blockade starting today, aimed at preventing Iran from selling oil on the global market.
He noted that other countries are cooperating with the effort to restrict Iran’s energy exports.
Meanwhile, Trump expressed strong dissatisfaction with NATO allies, criticizing them for not providing sufficient support to the United States on the issue.
