UK Rejects Support for US Hormuz Blockade, Says PM Starmer
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has stated that Britain will not support a U.S.-led blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and will not be drawn into a war with Iran.
He emphasized that, regardless of pressure, the UK’s priority is to ensure the strait remains open.
“It is vital that we get the Strait open and fully open,” Starmer said, adding that the UK has focused its efforts on maintaining free passage and will continue to do so.
