The price of green chillies has reached an all-time high!
In economic centres across the island, the price of green chillies is being sold at Rs. 750 to Rs. 850 per kilogram.
In this situation, the retail price of one kilogram of green chillies at the Narahenpita Special Economic Zone yesterday was recorded at Rs. 1000.
Furthermore, in many retail outlets across the country, the price of 100 grams of green chillies is being sold at Rs. 120 to Rs. 150.
