Road Closures in Toronto for New Year Celebrations
The city of Toronto, Canada, has announced the closure of several major roads in light of the upcoming New Year celebrations.
To ensure the safety of those celebrating and returning home, the Toronto city government has implemented a series of measures.
It has been declared that several streets will be closed from 10:00 PM tomorrow, Tuesday, until 1:00 AM Wednesday. Affected areas include the downtown core, Queens Quay West, Bay Street, and York Street.
In addition, fireworks events are scheduled to take place in certain areas of the city.
As a result of the road closures, certain restrictions will be imposed on public transportation as well.
Various celebration events have been organized throughout Toronto to mark the occasion of the New Year.
