Important Notice for Taxpayers
An important notice has been issued regarding the last date for filing 2023/2024 Income Tax Returns.
The Inland Revenue Department has announced that today (30) is the last day for filing income tax returns.
It is noteworthy that the Department has announced that returns will be submitted online only.
The Department has announced that the Head Office, Regional and City Offices of the Inland Revenue Department will be open today at the usual time to provide technical assistance related to this task.
Accordingly, it has been announced that the Head Office of the Inland Revenue Department and the Ceylon Bank branch located in the Javatha office premises will also be open for income tax payments.
