Discussion on Local Government Elections Next Week
We plan to hold a special discussion on the Local Government Elections next week, Elections Commission Chairman R.M.A.L. Ratnayake said.
While giving detailed information in this regard, he said:
“If the Local Government Elections are held before the Ordinary Level Examination, an urgent amendment to the Local Government Elections Act will be required. Therefore, we intend to hold a special discussion on the Local Government Elections next week.”
