Iranian delegation arrives in Islamabad for talks with US
A high-level Iranian delegation has arrived in the Pakistani capital Islamabad for historic direct talks with the US, aimed at easing the war tensions in the Middle East.
The talks, to be held under the neutral mediation of the Pakistani government, aim to resolve long-standing conflicts with the US and its allies.
Despite coming for talks, Iran has imposed some strict preconditions.
In particular, it has been emphasized that economic sanctions on Iran should be lifted and promises should be made to ensure regional security. Iran has stated that it will engage in full-fledged talks only after these conditions are met.
