Bowser accident with 33 thousand liters of fuel: People scooped it up bucket by bucket
A bowser carrying about 33 thousand liters of fuel met with an accident in the Puwakkahawela area on the Badulla-Colombo road, creating a tense situation in the area.
As a large amount of fuel leaked from the accident-hit bowser, nearby members of the public scooped up the fuel using buckets, cans, etc.
Further investigations are underway into the causes of the accident.
