Two private buses collided head-on.
Two buses collided head-on on the Matara-Tangalai main road in the Kandara, Thalalla area.
Two buses traveling from Embilipitiya to Matara and from Matara to Tangalle were involved in the accident.
More than 35 people were injured in the accident.
It is reported that 29 of the injured have been admitted to the Kandara Hospital and another 6 to the Matara Hospital.
