Russia has launched its largest airstrikes on Ukraine in ‘massive’ airstrikes.

Russia unleashed its largest airstrikes on Ukraine on Sunday.

Officials said the 120 missiles and 90 drones fired killed at least seven people. The attack caused “severe damage” to the power grid.

Ukrainians have been bracing for weeks for an attack on the energy system. This comes at a critical juncture in the war launched by Russia in February 2022. They fear the onset of winter will cause long blackouts and increase psychological stress.

The attacks, which triggered emergency power cuts in several regions, have been causing widespread damage to the country’s power grid.
