A boy has died after slipping on a detergent. The boy has been identified as Niroshan Vimat (age 04) from Irupalai East, Irupalai.

On the 23rd, the boy was playing with a neighbor boy and used a bucket to wash his hands from the well. At that time, the detergent fell down and he stepped on it and slipped and fell into the well. In this situation, the boy was rescued and admitted to the Jaffna Teaching Hospital.
However, the boy died this morning without any treatment.
The post-mortem examination was conducted by the Sudden Death Officer Namasivayam Premkumar. After the post-mortem examination, the body was handed over to the relatives.
