Will Vedukunarimalai Adi Shiva temple special pooja be held on the occasion of Mahashivaratri day?
The Vavuniya Court has directed the temple administration to act in the Vavuniya-North, Vedukunarimalai Athi lingeswarar temple issue as per the order already issued by the court.
That is, this order has been issued yesterday (4) when the case was taken up for trial.
As Mahashivaratri day is to be celebrated on the upcoming 8th, the temple management has taken efforts to conduct special pujas at Vedukunarimalai Adi Shiva temple.
However, the Nedunkeni police had informed the temple administration that if they wanted to hold events using generators, they would have to get permission from the court.
As a result, a motion deed was filed last week on behalf of the temple administration in the Vavuniya court.
Investigations related to this were conducted in the court yesterday (04).
On this occasion, the Judge after examining the matter was given an order to act as per the order already issued in the Vedukunarimalai Adi Shiva temple.
Meanwhile, it is noteworthy that the Vavuniya court had given an order in April last year to conduct pujas at Vedukunarimalai temple.
