War crimes committed in Sri Lanka: Canada to sue at the International Court of Justice

If the Conservative Party comes to power in Canada, the case against the war crimes committed in Sri Lanka will be prosecuted in the International Court of Justice, said the leader of the party, Pierre Poilivre.

He mentioned the above in an exclusive interview he gave to a Tamil media in Canada. He further said in this regard,

“Those involved in the war crimes committed during the Rajapaksa regime will be prosecuted at the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice.

Also, we will present in international arenas including the UN that the war crimes committed in Sri Lanka are a planned conspiracy to destroy the Tamil nation.

Also, we will direct the Canadian Foreign Affairs lawyers to prosecute the case,” he said.
