Government’s Decision to Provide Fuel Subsidy Before 10th
The government has taken action to provide the fuel subsidy for the months of November and December.
According to this, steps will be taken to distribute the subsidy before the 10th of this month, as stated by Fisheries Minister, Ratna Kamake.
He made these remarks while speaking to the media after an event held in the Kalutara-Habaraduwa area yesterday.
The fuel subsidy will be provided to both small-scale fishermen and long-time boat owners.
At the same time, the Minister pointed out that the prices of fishing equipment have risen significantly.
He also mentioned that the current government is taking steps to control the rise in these prices.
