Young family trapped in train – father, daughter killed – mother seriously injured..!!
A father and a daughter were killed and a mother was seriously injured in an accident involving a train in the Inuvil area of Jaffna, causing tragedy in the area.
The tragic accident took place when a Hayes vehicle collided with a train heading from Anuradhapuram to Kangesanthurai at Inuvil area.
The vehicle carrying 32-year-old Sayanthan, 22-year-old wife Priyanka, and their 6-month-old daughter, from Inuvil area, met with an accident.
The father and daughter died in the accident and the mother was admitted to the emergency department of the Jaffna Teaching Hospital with severe head injuries.
