The Department of Meteorology has said that it will rain several times in Eastern and Uva provinces today (12).
Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur in Mel and Sabaragamuwa provinces and Nuwara Eliya, Galle and Matara districts after 2.00 pm, the advisory said.
In the eastern slopes of the Central Highlands and in the North, North-Central, South, North-West, Uva and Eastern Provinces from time to time km. (30-40) Strong winds are said to be possible.
The Department of Meteorology further said that foggy conditions are expected at some places in the Mele and Sabaragamuwa provinces and Galle and Matara districts in the morning.
