Tamil National Alliance National List Seat to Sathyalingam! M.A. Sumanthiran Announcement
Former Member of Parliament M.A. Sumanthiran stated that the party’s political committee has decided to award the Tamil National Alliance National List Seat to Sathyalingam.
The political committee meeting of the Tamil National Alliance was held this morning at a private guest house located in Irapperiakulam, Vavuniya.
During this, lengthy discussions were held regarding the issue of awarding a national list seat to the Tamil National Alliance in the last election.
After the discussions, the political committee has decided to award the said national list seat to P. Sathyalingam, who had already contested and lost in the Vanni election district.
Former Member of Parliament for Jaffna District M.A. Sumanthiran had informed the media that the above decision was taken in this manner.
