Hero Day celebrations begin at the Kodikamam Heroes’ Memorial!
As the Hero Commemoration Week begins today, Despite the pouring rain, the commemoration was inaugurated by paying tribute to the heroes at the Kodikamam Heroes’ Memorial Center in Jaffna.
The main torch was lit by C. Sivanesan, the brother of four (4) heroes.
Representatives of political parties, representatives of public organizations and the general public participated in lighting the torch and laying wreaths to pay tribute to the heroes.
