Air Force’s 73rd Annual Inter-Association Football Tournament Begins Today
The 73rd Anniversary of the Sri Lankan Air Force kicked off today with a ceremonial kick-off for the Inter-Association Football Tournament in the Northern Province.
On the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Sri Lanka Air Force Commander
On the recommendation of Eya Marshall Udayani Rajapaksa, the inaugural event of the “Commantos Cup” Victory Bowl Friendly Tournament was held today.
The 11-team tournament will conclude in the first week of March.
Iranimadu Air Force Commanding Officer Guru Capt Sulosana Marapana participated in the inaugural event and inaugurated it.

Guru Capt. Sulosana Marapana mentions,
I am pleased to organize this competition with the aim of social security on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the Sri Lankan Air Force.
He also mentioned that our aim is to develop friendship and build a good relationship between the Air Force and you through this competition.
Following the introduction of the athletes and a group photo, the first match began. Kilinochchi Vavuniya teams clashed in the said match. The first goal was scored by the Kilinochchi League team.
